in appreciation of their unwavering dedication to NOT DOING
A GOD-DAMNED THING about legislating sensible gun-control.

A 16 year old illegally carried a gun to school,
and shot 5, and then himself.

Sad. But I would like to hear from the idiots
out there that think there is any "sensible gun-control"
law, that would have prevented this tragedy.

Mandate that when a male head of household dies,
that law enforcement be ordered to go and search
the household and remove all guns. ?
I do not think any legislature would agree with that.

The biggest, very simple reduction, would be if the
news media quit sensationalizing these suicides
and attempted suicides.

The media follows common sense restrictions in
regards other methods of suicide.

When an actress, or actor, or any average person decides
to hang themselves, how is that covered??
Very low key.
Because suicide prevention groups, and the media recognize
that it is very easy to have contagion, and copy cats.

Well, the Australian laws do a decent job of reducing their
occurrence. Hey, our laws damn sure haven't worked very well, I'd
say. The US gun crime rate is seven times that of any comparable
country. If our gun loons were actually stopping any crimes, it would
be worth discussing, but they're the ones doing the shooting.

And he didn't carry it illegally if he had a *right* to the gun. He
had a right to speak and a right to worship... and a right to have the
gun. That's what we must change.
